Let´s play a game, naming games

Hello RGT, its been a long time since i posted here, remember when i posted that compass theory thing? as i said back then, the purpose of that thing was to help me out understand why i like the games i like, and in the same way, this little game is what ive been using to force myself to vary the games i play and it has had effect on me, a very cool effect.

So, I've been thinking on about it, been wanting to post about it here, make you guys take part on it and see how far can we go with it

Here´s how it works:

• You have to choose a platform that no one else has chosen.
• Then you choose one game for each one of these genres:
  • Action: stuff like platformers, beat em ups and anything in between.
  • Shooter: shmups, fps, run n gun, whatever.
  • Racing: rally games count btw, but stuff like crazy taxi technically doesn´t tho
  • Puzzle: le tetris or something, like baba is you, that counts too
  • RPG: you know what counts as an RPG and what not im not telling you
  • Strategy/Tactics: fire emblem final fantasy tactics kind of thing
  • Adventure: VNs or old point and click adventure games, stuff like that
  • Mystery Genre: anything that does not fit any of those
• You actually dont have to fill all the slots, if the platform chosen doesn´t actually have that many or any games of a certain genre then leave it blank lol
• Here´s the fun part, you can not repeat either the same platform as someone else, nor the same games, or franchises.

And becuase i know im pretty bad at making myself clear, here´s an example:

Lets say i pick the sega genesis/megadrive my platform, now it pick the games

• Action: Sonic 3 & Knuckles
• Shooter: Battle Mania Daiginjou
• Racing:
• Puzzle: Mega Panel
• RPG: Phantasy Star IV
• Strategy/Tactics: Herzog Zwei
• Adventure:
• Mystery Genre:

As you can see, i left a lot of blank slots because i dont know what to put there, but the fun thing about it is that if you are one of those people bothered by those blank slots, you´ll end up looking for games to fill them!!!

Now, you can post yours, and remember, no same platform, no same franchise. If we eventually run out of platforms then we can start it again, i think that would work

Oh? Can I play too?
I know little about the Genesis, so I don't think I can complete many blank spaces, but I'd like to add a couple of genres:
* Fighting: SF2 - Special Champion Edition
* Beat'em up: Streets of Rage 2 (If you don't mind, I'll separate beat 'em ups from platformers, pretty big difference in styles)

My console of choice: the SNES
* Action: Mega Man X
* Shooter: R-Type 3 (A-am I a masochist?)
* Racing: F-Zero
* Puzzle: Goof Troop
* RPG: Final Fantasy 6
* Strategy/Tactics: Fire Emblem 4
* Adventure: Aerobiz Supersonic
* Mystery Genre: ... Pilotwings?
* Fighting: Super Street Fighter 2
* Beat'em up: Return of Double Dragon (yeah, everyone will pick TMNT4, but this was my very first SNES game)

Heh, sorry. But they had to be named. At least many of them have amazing ports/sequels in other consoles.
PS: I too a look at Battle Mania for the Genesis. It looks crazy and I love it. Thanks!
