Imagine if there was a Lego Video Game based off of the 1979 Film Apocalypse Now. Would anybody want to play it? Cause i sure as hell would!

This thread reminds me that Fallout: Equestria exists, and that fact gives me pause. I don't quite like mixing dark and/or edgy adult-based stuff with child-friendly things, so hard pass from me.

I mean they did Jurassic Park. That kinda has some adult stuff in it. Like when some guy gets torn apart by the 2 T-Rexes in the 2nd movie.

Sure, why not? I love Apocalypse Now and I'm always up for a LEGO video game.
The tone would be completely different, though, just like it was in LEGO Lord of the Rings.

I'd figure that a movie about friggin' dinosaurs and a movie about the Vietnam War are two vastly different levels of "adult".

Could be interesting but I think maybe a bit too mature for the all ages audiences Lego aims towards. I know I also saw someone talking about Lego having some kind of policy against creating sets based on military themes, pretty sure that was a YouTube short though so I dunno how true that is. I mean I guess Lego Indiana Jones exists? Though they kinda skirt around the whole Nazi Germany thing as much as possible its technically still there.

Now you guys have me thinking about what a Lego horror game might look like.

I feel like there's genuine potential there, if not for something serious, then at least for something parodic. Lego Terrifier? Lego The Thing?
I suppose the venn diagram of target audiences for a project like that would never look appealing to people with funding, but still! You could do such creative things!
