kind of stupid question But is there any way to not keep your real phone number to do discord Verification

Anytime when I am joining Discord group they're asking You must verify your identity by phone before you can send messages in this server So I don't really want to keep My real phone number I just don't know where I can ask for help. So yeah

Not your email, but your phone number you know if I want to go to chat to General Discussion but I can't because they asked me to give them phone number verify

I think that's a moderation thing. Some kind of "soft ban", as I used to fill a bug report on some group (Ragnarock customs) and the moderator was a bit stupid there and implied I got the bug because I was "cheating", and I joked about it. So next day I logged on it was asking for the phone number specifically to post on this group.

Better stay off of those Discord groups really. They'll sell your data.
