Hey, my anti-virus flagged and aborted the forum's keep-alive pulse a few minutes ago. This is almost certainly a false positive but you might want to doublecheck that everything your forum software is doing is legitimate.

I'll bring it up to the rest of the mod team, thanks for letting us know!

Also if it's happened to anyone else, please share as much!

What anti virus is that?
keep-alive is a normal part of how XenForo works from what I read on the official forums.

AVG Free. It got an update a couple of days ago and got pretty aggressive (it was silently killing XIVLauncher, for example). Sending a keep-alive is absolutely a normal thing which is why I said this is almost certainly a false positive, but it's worth a double-check just to make sure nothing stupid has happened.

I wouldn't trust AVG's heuristics a whole lot, it's pretty aggressive like you said.

I don't think I could do something about it without breaking how the forums work.
Maybe there's a whitelist by domain?

Beware: There have been no replies in this thread for 90 days.
Keep that in mind when expecting a reply from the people on it,
You can also start a new thread instead. This is just a heads-up, bumping is allowed in this forum.
