I preferred this outfit and really wanted to wear it in game for myself, so I looked up “Virtua Fighter 2 cheats”. There I was led to a GameFAQs thread that told me of several secrets in this game I really loved. I had no idea that you could play as Dural, nor the even more secret Gold Dural. If you’re a fan of the VF1 soundtrack, you can listen to several character themes from that game as well. And, of course, I found the code to play as the alternate costume version of a character. All this stuff is really inspiring. I love having a game, thinking “this is all this game is, but I love it all the same!” and then looking it up online to find that thought process to be proven totally false. Most interesting to me is that, allegedly, there’s a code to have an actual secret fight against the Name Select fighter. VF2 has a fun take on the name entry screen you see in a lot of arcade games, with you actually having to fight an opponent made of letters to input your name. If this is a secret fight, unlocked when you get to the name entry screen and hold down a secret button combo, I have to try that sometime.
