Just beat Shin Megami Tensei 1, and what a time it was!

Good morning viewers of this site, this fall evening- as of yesterday I finally beat Shin Megami Tensei 1 58 hours in. I managed to clamp my talons on the neutral ending, WHICH- I did intend to, so I'm quite pleased with myself at that! I will say I found it a VERY enjoyable playthrough, and it was a real HOOT-(hehe) using some demons that haven't appeared in the modern titles for a good bit. MY highest praises, and loyalties to Cockatrice, despite being level 30 proved to be relevant throughout the ENITRE game with a pretty good 22 attack stat AND with the ever-reliable stone bite and paralyze claw! Also, Decarabia- a fellow goetian brethren ever proving useful with tetrakarn!

(OOC: If anyone wonders why I named myself Mr Krabs??? Uhh. idk. i thought law hero spongebob and chaos hero squidward would be damn amusing! Hell, they even managed to get in a playthrough video on my main YT account.)

Enjoyed it, but man oh man, are guns overpowered there, you can consistently put to sleep and other nasty status effects high level demons and most bosses. Also guns do consistent heavy damage and hits multiple targets( full rows of sleeping demons ), swords at full strength can't come even close.

REALEST OF COMMENTS! I’d be a fool to not deny how hellishy BUSTED guns are! I’m actually okay with the bullets never running out, but yeah the damage can be comical at times…

Still playing trough kyuyakku Megami Tensei!!! I have thought about trying Megami Tensei 2 because the ost is THAT good..

Beat it once, fortunately i had a Throne with Estoma, granted the trap floor were dicks, i had to farm shields from Assasins for hours, the bosses are kind of pushovers if you get lucky Charming bosses, but even then the Demons in the Cathedral are strong enough even if you don't want to fuse

TY!! I originally started with the GBA like two years ago… but ALAS.. the snes sound chip just does more wonders on the ears
