Dreamcast Is there still a way to unlock the Red Cat? [Daytona USA 2001]

So, I'm currently trying to unlock all 10 cars in Daytona USA 2001. As you can see in the picture below, I've made some pretty nice progress in the game :

I've unlocked everything aside from the cars Red Cat and Javelin (the latter requires 100 hours of playtime). The problem is, according to the guides I've seen (there's this old GameFAQs page that's basically a complete guide of the game) I should've unlocked the former, because I already passed the requirement. What is it, you might ask? Well, to unlock the car you must EITHER win one online race (something that might not be possible for some time here) OR get 20 hours of playtime. As you can see I'm already above the playtime requirement, so is there something I didn't do/did wrong? Or am I just screwed? Any (honest) answer helps.

Well, from what I found that GameFAQs guide is the only one that lists waiting 20 hours as an unlocking requirement for Red Cat, every single other guide I found in the last 15 minutes states that winning an online race is the only way to unlock it. Funnily enough, someone asked about it on GameFAQs forums and the only answer they got is that the 20 hours thing was them 'getting trolled'.

Looks like the only option available these days is downloading someone's savefile from way back when and applying it to your memory card. Kinda sad.

OR you should use a Codebreaker / CDX (or whatever) cheat code ?

Unlock All Cars - - 0128E0F0 0000FFFF

This one was for my japanese version of the game, but - if I remember correctly - JP and US codes are the same for many games.

Sure!
Personally, I play with FlyCast on my tablet, and I use Gameshark CDX version 3.3 ?
