Recently i was just using my psp normal, just playing alot of music and tekken 6/yu-gi-oh but yesterday i have seened something strange.
When my psp run out of charge it didn't play the battery run out screen it just turned the screen black wich freaked me out plus right now when the battery is in 1 to 30% the psp shut's down but i can turn it on again if it still has charge it just reset's the internal clock wich is a pain to put in every single time.
I am afraid that the supercapacitator is starting to oxidate and if it is than i can do nothing about it even when i already have a new one in hand, because i live in a midium sized town that dosen't have a game store that can do a replacement for a piece in a console, my hope is that is only my fake chinese battery dying due to me using the psp regulary.

I think it’s your battery especially you said that it’s a “3rd party” product, the thing with PSPs are you are prone to change you battery on a certain point in time and having some reserves would benefit you in the long run

Yeah a PSP battery can die from age or ather issues which will prevent the device from turning on without being plugged in not holding a charge or having significantly reduced runtime. You can test this by confirming the device works with a power adapter but not without it or by observing signs like a battery not accepting a charge. To fix it replace the old battery with a new one and calibrate it by fully charging it for several hours after installation.

If you hold the Power button for about 30 or so seconds, it should do a hard Reset on it.
If the battery has any charge at all. It's also possible that the battery could have discharged a large voltage into the PSP, since it is a Chinese battery, and this may have screwed up the BIOS or firmware. I hope it's only the battery.
