Yes, it is arch with training wheels (I wouldn't use AUR in practice on manjaro even though you can enable pamac support for it, but you still got flatpaks >_>) So Arch based newbie friendly is definitely manjaro. As for redhat derivatives, mandriva was not newbie friendly, imo, but that was the only one I used for a bit. I know fedora is popular, but I don't know how newbie friendly it is, I think [USER=37262]@NatalieZaki[/USER] uses fedora from the other linux thread, so might have an opinion on that. [/QUOTE]
