Indiana Jones and The Great Circle's first expansion, The Order of the Giants, now has a release date — and it's only a few months' away. The Order of the Giants will arrive on September 4, 2025.
It is interesting and the story is good but if you are not sure take a look here:Was this any good? I wanted to try it out but have been a bit tight on my game budget lately.
Like getting a Director's Cut DVD. :D It's like bonus scenes they added to an already great movie!Indiana Jones and The Great Circle's first expansion, The Order of the Giants, now has a release date — and it's only a few months' away. The Order of the Giants will arrive on September 4, 2025.
No really, it's what should have been in theaters instead of Indy 4 and 5. I'm not bullshitting here. It's ACTUALLY GOOD. Also I love the Fate of Atlantis series. They really need to make those into movies too! Sofia is a good foil for Indy.I'm sorry but I just don't want to play The Great Circle (Most generic name ever) for the same reasons why I won't watch the Dial of Destiny. I don't trust the writing to respect Indy.
I say this as some one who enjoyed both the Young Adventures & Emperors Tomb - the odd ball entries and as cringe as it may be I so appreciate the concept behind the Crystal Skull despite how flawed it is.
(Fun fact. During the development of the Infernal Machine Lucas veto'd the use of extra-terrestrials as he had a plan to use them in a future film project. This was way back in 97. For better or for worse Lucas had a vision locked in for at least a decade prior)
But anything post Disney acquisition? Nope.
Some times dead is better.
Especially when the old games are still easily accessible.

Maybe one day I'll check it out on gamepass, I will admit I'm extremely burnt out with legacy franchises being dredged up for nothing more than brand recognition. No really, it's what should have been in theaters instead of Indy 4 and 5. Storywise it feels like it was made by Lucas and Spielberg in their prime.Maybe one day I'll check it out on gamepass, I will admit I'm extremely burnt out with legacy franchises being dredged up for nothing more than brand recognition.
Probably shouldn't assume by default Great Circle is terrible, but apathy had well and truly set in.
I thought it was excellent. It's not something I'd have ever thought about buying at full price, mainly because it's not something I'd known immediately I would enjoy, but it's one of those "damn I'm glad I have gamepass for this!" type of games. Was this any good? I wanted to try it out but have been a bit tight on my game budget lately.
