Finally it has an English translation of this version of the game which is in this case the Ogre version and also that it is based on the 3rd season of the anime and also that it is the longest season itself.

And already into 8 hours gameplay

Inazuma Eleven actually just fit for my Japanese level but i happy for people who actually need it

It´s kinda funny how the Spanish patch released earlier, the same thing hapenned with IE Go Galaxy as well.

Is there a reason to play this over the 3DS version? I did actually feel like 2 on the DS had better gameplay than 3 when I played the trilogy as 3ds 1, NDS 2 and then 3DS 3 Ogre.

Well, it's easier to emulate.

And if I recall correctly, the Spanish patch modifies the game to have some of the features of the 3DS version, like recruiting the characters from past games like the Dark Emperors.

But it's far from perfect, we can't use the abecedary album, and only use the location searching.

The 3DS version of 3 was only available on Europe and playing that version means you have to play with their awful localization names for everything including player names, techniques, teams, places and virtually anything with a unique name.

This is the reason the undub patches on the 3DS not only change the voices to japanese, but they also have to go through every single character to give them their japanese name back. Not to mention the spanish (Spain) dub sucks as a whole as it is almost as bad as 4Kids when it came to americanization of unnecesary stuff.

Edit: Glad to see my 100th message on this forum was shitting on Spain's dub, wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

I can't run 3DS and I always wanted to play Inazuma Eleven 3 (both versions) and Ogre Team. I'll have a look into this patch and hope for more translations in the future. Thank you for the post!

Have you heard the English dub of Inazuma Eleven?

Yeah, the Spanish dub is far from perfect, the script of the games it's more faithful to the Japanese, voice acting aside.

Personally, what really kills the official localization for me are the names. This game is very obviously japanese inspired to the point you are travelling through the entire country on the second game. But then you have characters called Mark, Todd, Nathan, Jude, Shawn etc.

Thanks for info. Bit the bullet and got X/Twitter account for this..

Sadly this is just an asset swap mostly (?) with EUR 3DS version script, so player names are localized, I would still go with undub version of EUR one (3DS).

Was there an actual complete English patch? The only English patch I'm seeing is the old, incomplete Patch v0.6. What happened to the full English fan translation? The link has expired in that Reddit post, too. Other threads here are no help either

People were too late in grabbing it, and I think the eng translation backport patch is lost media at this point.

Ayo, is it really the Nomura patch? Quick, someone tag the mods. We can't let this get lost again.

I'm on chapter 2, the text fully based on the 3DS version. so I can confirm this are not old patch.

How are you playing it? Because I tried Twilightmenu on my DS and it won't load past the first Daisuke Endo cutscene, and on MelonDS it won't work beyond the title screen.
