In y'all opinion, what is the best handheld/console to emulate

There is a list of 1500 + games playable on VITA3K but most of these are already on other consoles that can be emulated better or in PC version. I see little to no reason to use VITA3K to be honest. The exclusives for PSVita are boring.

I found PC emulation on a phone difficult. The op is about emulating on phones.

I recommend DS emulation on your phone. Games like Pokemon Soul Silver have really good touch controls which work nicely on a phone.

The emu-ex set of emulators are pretty simple but reliable (as far as I've seen) emulators for android. I recommend them as an alternative to have a more lightweight option to others if desired, and they're free.

Easy answer on the handheld... The Nintendo DS (and the Drastic emulator) reign supreme. the sheer amount of kick-ass games on the DS and the ease of use and reliability of Drastic make this a great combo. Runs good on lower end phones also.
