Tried that Catgirl game. Very silly & daft, unexpected destruction & violence, less than three hours long. Recommended.

Quite a lot of lengthy games recommended here. If you are in the mood for shorter games how about Pikuniku, SIGNALIS, Umurangi Generation, and A Short Hike.

Does it matter if I pick the PSP or PS2 version? I had it on PS2 growing up.

No matter both have great prize for that. I currently finish psp origin and get some costumes and items.
In fact I collect save file for boss rush or cool puzzle solving.
