My title came from a song I like "Anonymous M" which also pulled double duty as something that sounded like an alias.

My username was some gibberish Romaji I threw together as a teen, and I've been using it for so long that it feels weird to change now.

Where did your love for Hatsune Miku start?

I had been a casual fan since 2007 when the character first launched, but my hardcore love for the character and scene started with Wowaka's release of "Rolling Girl" in 2010. I was going through some stuff at the time and it provided a lot of comfort. I've been pretty deeply intrenched ever since.

I admittedly haven't kept up with anime in the last few years, but I'd have to say Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Samurai Champloo and Nichijou are both "comfort food" faves of mine too.

Wowaka's final song before he passed away. It's a song about learning to show love even in the face of self-doubt and rejection. It has a lot of meaning to me, and I've even considered getting a tattoo of the pieced back together heart design.

I'll give anything in the scene a listen, and I like Gumi, Megurine Luka, and Kasane Teto a fair bit too. But Miku is definitely my main priority with Vocaloid.

Not a food but a texture. Any kind of meat that's really gristly or has a "bubblegum" like chew.

Yes actually! It was for The Phantom Menace. I was super excited for Star Wars as a kid and remember coming away confused, but thinking Darth Maul was cool.
