What game would you want them to play, and why?

As and when I become Supreme Overlord of the Universe through completely non-rigged elections brotrustme,
I would give everybody a copy of Metal Gear Solid 1 + 2 Sons of Liberty, as well as the means to play them.

It would be my one-and-only action in Office before I either resigned or was politely public executed at a reasonable hour, so as to ensure everyone who tuned in could still get an early night.

I'd force everyone to own a copy of Earthbound. My best friend's favorite game is Earthbound, but the game is far too expensive to own on cartridge, so he doesn't own it physically.

Edit: I may have slightly misinterpreted the question, it seems. I still stand by what I initially sent above, but I'll add that I'd want everyone to try Symphony of the Night. It's just a very fun game from beginning to end.

It sounds evil, but it really is my answer. I like good melee combat in games, and would like everyone to be exposed to games like NG in the hopes that it raises the bar for future melee combat systems.

I actually Like X6. Music kicks ass, Zero's saber doesn't feel like a paintbrush. Nightmare system is dogshit though.
