I want to do a nuzlocke and i need your help! :3

Hi everyone :3 Silly Cheela making another post after a long vacation break!

I have returned to the internet lately after taking a break mainly because of IRL reasons, but have been re-enjoying some games i left on the backlog because of it. One of the them being the Pokémon series, playing through some RomHacks and generally falling in love with playing the games again. There is one gen/game though i have never fully beaten:

I REALLY STRUGGLE FINISHING PLATINUM OR ANY SINNOH GAME.

Soo here is the plan. Instead of not enjoying my time and force me to play Platinum for the sake of completion i decided to do an active challenge that could be fun for me and for you to read/watch. I know this a general retrogaming forum and not a challenge/nuzlocke focused one, but i really enjoy my time here soo i wanted to make something for the community in terms of content :3 soo yes this an RGT focused nuzlocke, were the pokemon are named after users of the forum and updated here in this Thread.
Also i will stream it on my twitch channel but the main updates are going to be here, soo dont feel obligated to follow me there, because i know live streams are not for everyone, and i wanted to still have that Forum feels of the ogs nuzlockes comics.

Soo here are the rules (for me hehe):
1. When a pokémon faints it dies, for the context of this nuzlocke the "Dead" Box is going to be named "Banned"
2. Nickname every pokemon after an user that comment on this Thread.
3. Items are banned in battle
4. Level caps for every single gym leader and the final level cap is going to be Cynthia´s best pokémon.

Soo how you can help me? Well simple: Leave a comment in the post to have a pokemon named after you :3
Also you can vote in the poll for what starter i should use. (For context i don't really looooooooooove any of the starters this gen, soo vote for the one you want :3)

Update:

The first stream was really fun. We caught a lot of pokemons:

@Waffles as being the first User who commented in this post is our signature starter :3

A Piplup as decided by the people. Who faced our rival Spike (idk if i should @ them) The most powerful owner of RGT. Spike chooses Turtwig, a Pokemon who is going to give a lot of troubles in the future xD

After mashing the A button a lot, we won the first battle and go through Platinum Tutorials xD
When we get our first Pokeballs the run truly begin!!

Our first encounter in Lake Verity is a Bidoof! @Yousef the Bidoof joins our party reluctantly on the second ball because she wanted to do a critical Hit to Waffles first before getting in the team! (Very on brand for the bulliest in RGT)

Then we go to Route 202 to get our second encounter an hold and behold, is a Shinx! One of my favorite pokémon and named after @Omegapunch who was cheering for me on stream it would be really unfortunate if something happened to them!

Aaaaaand of course missfortune happens! While training with the first trainer on route 202, our beloved @Omegapunch get knocked by a nearly dead Starly who landed a critical hit!

This bloody bastard!
Lamenting the death of our beloved Shinx, the BANNED box was born, holding now of dearly corpse of @Omegapunch the Shinx!

We keep moving on though! After talking to Interpol agent Looker because he was acting weird and giving Spike a map he forgot at his house, we continue our adventure capturing and the near route a Magikarp named @Zerpina and a Starly named @RanmyakuIchi. We battled Spike and got lucky landing a critical hit to his annoying Turtwig! And move on to Oreburgh city. In the tunnel we caught a Zubat named @DunkeyKong.

We arrive an Oreburgh to find out the gym leader works in a coal mine, and have to visit it to challenge him! We went south and caught a Geodue in the mine, i called "Tostada" because of a friendly twitch viewer! Then we met up with leader Roark, he smash a rock with hes Pokemon foreshadowing the battle that will transcend in his Gym. (Level cap 14)

I went to the Gym with confident! Our @Waffles should have advantage with his water type! But the Rng and Roark had other plans! The first two pokemons were Geodude and Onix, Two very easy pokemon to deal with it, although his Onix set up stealth rocks, which unfortunately for me would make switching Pokemon harder. No big deal i said! @Waffles can do this.

I now have a nemesis!

His Cranidos comes out! AND HE HAD BLOOD IN HIS EYES. He quickly proceeds to Heatbutt our beloved starter soo hard, that it flinched! I am fucked. As i banned items, my only hope was to switch to another pokemon and do some debuff like confusion. But then Onix's Stealthrock bited my ass and between that and the murderous rage of Cranidos i Wiped in the First Gym.

Soo yeah that was a dissapointing run, but i will not give up! I started another run
and another
and another
And after 3 attempts i finally beat Spike Turtwig again. Talk about bad luck

This mf still have some time to make my life miserable

I was pretty tired soo i called quit for today.
The current team is just @Waffles 2 and Tostada8,5 (named after the twitch viewer who encouraged me to keep going after soo many attempts). But the journey is not over, i just have to be more prepared next time!
