i think i need to listen to new music but i need recommendations

hiiiii i hope you are well!!!

my music taste is a mixed bag-- i started off listening to a lot of prog rock like king crimson, yes, CAN, but then i kinda branched out. my favorite band is garbage, and i like a lot of other grunge bands like nirvana, the vaselines, hole, and veruca salt. i'm a fan of some indie alternative stuff like enon, catherine, and panchiko, i like the smiths, the cardigans, ween, a lot of other miscellaneous stuff.. i also appreciate some riot girl punk stuff like the raincoats and the japanese band midori. i know i'm kind of throwing a lot at you, but i thought it might help. i just like a lot of stuff, but that's the problem-- i've heard it all!! i want new stuff!!!! wahh!!!!

Possibly people are quite aware of this Genre, because of other Goth-like bands. Some maybe not known and known within the Goth and Punk like; 80's Bauhaus, Second Still, 1988's Red Temple Spirits, Molchat Doma, Human Tetris, French Police... The ones I'm bringing up in this Post are some 80's...

Hmm, if you like post-punk and grunge stuff you might enjoy Protomartyr, Viagra Boys and The I.LY's.

For Japanese bands my top picks are Acute, Melt-Banana, Der Eisenrust, Akira Yamaoka, Merzbow and and Hanatarash.
