I like RPG and Action RPG, sometimes racing games too

I am learning Japanese at the moment, and retro game is heaven for me since there are so many great games that never got released outside of Japan. My favorite series are Ys and .Hack//G.U, my favorite game is Xanadu Next. I am currently playing Ys: Oath In Felghana on the PSP and Berserk game on the Dreamcast. I wasn't a fan of tactical rpg, because it is so slow, but after playing Sword of Convallaria I am now a changed man. I think tactical RPG and touch control are a match made in heaven, I mean you just need to select a tile and BAM! the character moves, I hate it when I had to do that with a d-pad back in the PS2. But then again, some popular tactical RPG games on mobile platform like Alchemist Code and Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile shuts down, so idk maybe I'm the only one who thinks that tactical RPG + touch control is insanely awesome. I am also playing Langrisser M rn. I played all of the games here in Japanese because I want to play whilst learning, two birds with one stone, ya know.

Welcome! I love most flavours of RPG myself, including tactical RPGs. I don't love touch controls personally, but I can see how that would be useful for tactics games! I also sometimes like racing games, but usually the more cartoony kart racers. Hope you have a great time on the forums!

Well hello there, I just learned something new. I didn't even knew there was an Berserk game on the Dreamcast . If you haven't read the Berserk manga you should definitely do that . I still hope for the one Berserk anime adaption that goes beyond the Golden Arc(that 3d photo slideshow from ''anime'' 2016 doesn't count ).

Sword of Convallaria looks a lot of fun, I always wanted to play it but since it is gacha and I despise gacha to the point of puking and shitting on my panths at once while I bleed through my eyes in agony, I won't play it.

For the rest, your taste seems to be similar to mine regarding RPG's :) Star Ocean Second Story is a joy for the eyes, one of the best RPG's I've ever played, and I will keep saying the remake is great.

here's another thing you may not know, apparently Azumanga and Yotsuba-to shares the same universe, and Osaka grew up to be a teacher in Yotsuba-to. Man that was insane
