Dynasty-Warriors-Gundam-2-PlayStation-200001.jpg

Never played this series, i saw an interesting thread about it and did some research on the game. Looked so much fun so i downloaded it https://retrogametalk.com/repository/ps2-iso/dynasty-warriors-gundam-2-usa/

I started the game but most of the characters and Mobile Suits where unavailable, so i searched the web for ''Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 - 100% SAVE'' there where a lot of options so i choose the save file that had everything open. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/952639-dynasty-warriors-gundam-2/saves

I used mymc and watched a tutorial video on YouTube.

Sorry BANDAI my time is really limited so i had to do it, now that i got the hang of it i am afraid i will use it again. Got any games that you recently discovered that you wanted to exploit but you didn't had time to afford in it? Also I found some awesome ROMS with HACKS i will check them out for sure. I was about to make a thread about a movie again, but i changed my mind, maybe tomorrow. Thanks for reading, until my next Thread, see you.

Not for me, I admit I'm kind of a masochist, any game out there that provokes me to do (sensible) challenges and difficulties, my mind immediately go "bring it!".

EXCEPT one game, just one, Tales of The Abyss.
Why the heck do they lock the Abyss Rangers costume for NG+ only? I had to find a clear save off the internet anytime I wanna play it again.

I beat Armored Core Nexus and Last Raven more than three times each one in a row and I cheated after playing so much. I basically got too burned out, so, still feeling like beating Last Raven one last time, I set some cheats.

It was glorious. For once I felt superior to the game's enemies (which literally cheat in the base game already).

Have fun, that's what matters.

Honestly when it comes to cheating in games, its always a personal choice. In my opinion, if you feel you need to bend the games rules/logic to progress or to experience a game, so be it. Kudos to those who did not need to cheat but you're not playing for bragging rights, right ? And while you may lose some of the experience by taking a shortcut, if by not cheating means you were not going to experience the game at all, then I think its justified.

For example, I often will rely on save states when playing difficult retro games if I'm having a hard time with them. I don't have the luxury to replay certain Stages or Events repeatedly until I get it right. I understand that is the point of some of these games, but I simply cannot afford to do that with my time anymore and would rather rely on a Save state to help me progress then to drop the game completely and move on.

The only exception of course, is for multiplayer games. If you cheat online you are a bad person and I hatechu!

I mean its alright....look I like a challenge I dont care if im a complete noob I go for the highest difficulty I did it with half life , with system shock , with call of duty 1 , 2 and silent hill although in SH I ran out of ammo so I had got infinite ammo cheat and counted 30 pistol bullets and 10 rifle shots fighting the bee monster "cheat" they said stole from me 9 pistol bullets I only had a one magazine so I was down to 5 bullets and rifle I had 6 I think was down to 2 or 3 so yes I got soft locked by my own idiotic behavior of shotgunning nurses in hospital but the game took my legally owned ammo from me so I consider it a fair trade.

In all 3 RE games on PS1 I went with hard sure had difficult time but it was fine (not to remind me of the amount of times I got slapped and choked by fountain tree monster in RE1 cuz I kept trying to bypass it).

Metal gear solid? Heh straight to hard no map or mine detection trail and error method.

So with all this flexing you think I don't like cheating yeah? My number 1 rule is fair if the game is hard but is fair and even if its uunfair at times but completely playable and most importantly not tedious and respects the playertime im against cheating.

If its a broken mess and has tedious mechanics and higher difficulties give enemies unfair advantages nope F that , the only game I legitimately openly cheat in is sudden strike due to the worst line of sight system I ever seen it slows down the game so much you spend 2 hours scouting and 5 minutes shooting screw that I want action I WW2 game not eye sight treatment simulator not to add highest difficulty grants enemies perks that makes their vehicles deal more damage to your in other words the tank in the data is said to have 50mm of frontal armor suddenly its way more than that meanwhile bring the same tank but you own it and it will get penetrated by guns that defeat 50mm of armor while the enemy tank doesn't do that , so I just type *omniscience* and reveal whole map and play like that even then if you save the enemy gets the cheat too , usually they see you before you see them so with map reveal its pretty fair but with map revealed for them too they become too powerful like way waaaay to strong their howitzers can spot your troops in an instant and its rage inducing from there so I save load and problem fixed rinse and repeat and actually SS is fun.

If its fun and bearable and not borderline bullshit like I mentioned above im pretty fine.

In your case you don't have time and want to play that's understandable.

Gundam wars took years to end. For example, one year war, as the name imply, took one year. Gryps Conflict took about 11 months. So yeah, your time is not limited, you are just making excuse. 😉

yeah this is something Gingham would do and say

I always cheat.
In single player of course, cheating in multiplayer just wouldn't be very fun (plus I don't play those anyway)
