Hey y'all, heard about this site and I wanted to give it a spin. I used to go on gaming forums as a kid and I really loved forum culture, so the fact that it's almost entirely dead makes me pretty sad. This place seems neat though and pretty lively!

Quick about me:

• Was big into gaming as a kid, then around late middle school I kinda fell out of it aside from some select games (maybe a bit of a stretch but gaming definitely slid WAY down on my priorities)
• Similar around college and post-college, maybe I gamed a tiny more than your average person (or at least my choices were less casual), but I certainly wouldn't call myself a "gamer"
• Pandemic threw me headfirst back into gaming and I've probably completed more games since the pandemic than the rest of my life up to that point
• Been on a huge Final Fantasy kick since the pandemic - finally beat all the single player numbered games just last week and I'm excited to check out some other JRPGs that I missed out on growing up

Thank ya! Originally I was going to go for an "edgy 2000s forum" vibe, but I felt like this is a little bit more me today. Maybe I'll still sprinkle in some cringe with the signature when I can do that.
