Help How do I use RetroAchievements?

I have signed up to Retroachievements recently and I played a game on an emulator(mGBA) and I got some achievements, but they didn't reflect on my RetroAchievements profile, I would appreciate some help with setting up Retroachievements cuz I don't understand what I'm supposed to do after that

You have to sign-in on the emulator as well. RetroArch seems to be the most commonly used one..

Edit: Also, for this site, only input your username, not the entire retro achievement URL...

Ah, so I must sign-in into the emulator before it starts recording achievements?

Yep... In the emulator itself, using your Retro Achievements screen name & password..

Again, using a supported emulator..
