Hey beloved community,

as a former member and developer of and in the homebrew community for the PSP, i thought i'd get some stuff together which i have stored locally for years and years.

Started to put files onto my google drive for easy access, the filenames should get you where you want to get.

I am sure this has no real use for most though, as the PSP is an obsolete system, but i'd never doubt the homebrew scene for it to make a comeback. Thus, sharing tools, libraries and sourcecodes from homebrew games, apps and emulators. There is a chance that some of the sdk and/or tools only work on a 32-bit windows version, but i guess you'd be able to figure it out. Most libraries being used in PSP homebrews and emulators, but also in official releases.

Things sorted as following:

PSP-homebrew sourcecodes, PSP libraries, PSP dev-tools.


I will keep uploading more and more of the homebrew, hacking, exploiting and maybe also official sourcecodes, if there is any interest.


UPDATE: Added some more tools to edit the individual "eboot.pbp" files, plus you will find in this shared folder other psp emulator builds which are not "PPSSPP" - see here!

UPDATE 2: got hooked onto it: next folder is having tools for usage on PC in it. Tools you use for savegame editing, map editing, for filing, for server hosting, etc etc, and all just for PSP games and homebrews - get 'em here!

There's still people using PSPs and these homebrews can be used on Vitas running Adrenaline, so I would say that your list isn't irrelevant. Some people swear that the emulators that ran on PSP ran better than some of the ones made for Vita specifically.
 
Being sincere, thank you very much! (I was thinking of making games for the PSP, I don't have one yet but I kinda of love the console) I was thinking about how to do it and your post will help me to make it (also an WinXP 32-bit, or an laptop Running Win7 32-bit would be an good candidate to use as an platform to make the game?)

To this, i had all psp development done under windows xp - maybe get it set up in a virtual machine.

Also added another link for eboot-tools and emulator builds which are not ppsspp, or based on ppsspp

Hi chief. You won't believe how much the PSP still excites and entertains gamers from all over the world: I know this because in recent years I have published various threads and kept an eye on the PSP section of GBATemp.

Rather, why don't you still produce some homebrews/ports for this beloved console nowdays? Regards.

Back then i didn't mind to take the time, i was in school and had lots of time :D i am lacking the time mostly, and after work, also the motivation. If i get to it, i might look into it though
