I went ahead and did that. Partially because I will not be finishing this.

This game is broken in so many ways that can permanently screw you over that I recommend against playing it.

I'm just gonna copy over my last comment there.

Alright, well I’m on Chapter 20 and I just used a Redebut on Rushia at max level.

Now she can no longer summon anything. Pretty sure ALL of her skills have been disabled.

Laplus was at level 34, and her level reset to 3 at the start of the chapter for no reason.

In the Guardian chapter, choosing to Capture Kurokami instead of just killing her causes the game to treat it as Fubuki’s death when you Drop her. Fubuki disappears forever. Gone.

Teaching Ollie both Counterattack and Counterspell causes neither of them to work.

The Hope skill doesn’t work at all, so if you used the scroll and chose to forget a skill to make room for it, you literally just deleted a skill for no gain.

This is on top of permanently losing multiple one-of-a-kind scrolls and important items due to the unreasonable item limit, and the fiasco with Shion being unable to walk onto the cave tile required for her to trigger the secret and unlock the Gaiden chapter. You HAVE to promote her SPECIFICALLY into a Witch to do it.

Not to mention the absurd Speed stat that mobs of enemies start to have past chapter 17, meaning any unit with Skill below 20 pretty much cannot hit them. If you were unlucky with the Skill stat, you are suddenly at the abject mercy of merciless RNG. You could very well end up in a virtually unwinnable situation, even with RNG abuse.

Bloom in particular could be a run-ending obstacle, especially if you didn’t level Botan. I got lucky with a Sniper proc, that’s pretty much the only reason I could kill it.

I’m sorry, but that’s tore it. I can’t keep playing something that has this many problems that permanently screw over the player.

I hope to play the new version when it releases, and I hope things like this are fixed better in it. I wish you luck and success.

It's in a horrible state. I strongly recommend passing on this one until the new version is out.
 
Okay so there's a major bug here on Chapter 17. If you Capture the boss instead of just killing it, when you Drop them, it will register as the death of your own unit. Like, she's gone forever. It'll make sense when you get there. The Runeblade isn't worth it.

I would report the bug in the main thread, but the dev has just announced that they will essentially be rebuilding the whole game from the ground up.

They have requested sprite artists for new portraits. Some of them, uh, REALLY need it.



There's also a quirk with this ROM that I haven't seen in any other Fire Emblem hack. The RNG in this doesn't work like Fire Emblem RNG normally does. It's generated by frame rule rather than seed, so you can just re-roll the same thing until you get the results you want.

Oh, and on Chapter 16, make sure you have Shion promoted. It's the only way to get her to the tile she needs to Wait on to access 16x. She's a good unit as long as you make sure she gets some Speed.

I didn't have her there yet, so I had to restart the chapter four times to figure out what to do. I ended up just powerleveling her to 20 on that exact map. Easier than it sounds when you have five units with 20+ defense.

DON'T promote Nene into a flier, as counter-intuitive as it sounds. Turn Flare into a General through her A support with Noel, as stupid as it sounds. You'll thank me later.

And for the love of god, don't let your storage get full. This is a LOT harder than you would think.

Just downloaded the pre-patched ROM on a separate device and it loads just fine on mGBA.
when ever i try to click the download link, it does nothing then gives me an browser error screen saying the link is broken

Just downloaded the pre-patched ROM on a separate device and it loads just fine on mGBA.

You should also add version 1.3 in the download. ARM Linux devices (like popular emulation handhelds from Anbernic, Powkiddy, Miyoo, etc.) can't run certain chapters on any version above 1.3 (ex: Chapter 8). So the player would have to downgrade for specific chapters, then upgrade back to 1.8.2. Saves work just fine back and forth between versions.

Welp, Chapter 8 is certainly a thing that someone created.

Turn 6, a blizzard rolls in. Your movement is now slowed to a crawl and your vision is impaired.

Immediately afterward, three Bishops with LOL LMAO stats spawn across the map. Two of these Bishops have a Sleep staff. One of them also has a Silence staff. Okay, that's a problem, but fair enough.

Except it's not. All of these Bishops have a Certain Set of Skills.

>Powerstaff: Get two turns when using a staff.
So they immediately get to put four units to sleep, which is almost guaranteed since their stats are so high. The next turn, they get to put two more to sleep and silence another one. Then they get to silence two more on the third turn.

You will have a single unit capable of using a Restore staff. A Cleric.

>Miracle: Survive with 1 HP if above 50%.
>Counterattack: All physical damage is reflected.
They have 17 HP. So you hit them, they survive on 1 HP, and all your damage hits you. This leaves you with 10 HP at best. Then they counter with highly accurate light magic and finish you off. Well, okay, then just use magic, right?

Wrong. They have 18 Resistance. One of them also has Countermagic, so they also reflect magic damage.

The classic Look Everybody, I Made an Enemy That Gets to Win! Your options are either to ignore them and simply let them do what they want, or attack them with Mumei and hope for a 60% dodge.

Oh, and the map gets flooded with Crossbowmen at the same time. Hope you don't have any flying units in range, because they're all about to die!

Oh, and now there's seven Pegasus Knights to the north. The guide actually tells you about these! It doesn't tell you about the one that spawns next to the NPC on the other side of the map. Who is also now asleep, obviously. There is no reason for them to attack this NPC, either. They are completely innocent as far as the plot is concerned. But they get murdered all the same.

I fucking hate level design where you're expected to play the level twice and essentially predict the future to win. STOP DESIGNING LEVELS LIKE THIS.

EDIT: They gave you a dancer and a bard. YOU CAN DO THE MEME.

EDIT 2: DO NOT DO THE MEME.

EDIT 3: Okay, you can do the meme as long as you never actually end the turn. Just make sure you can end the level immediately.

You have to be kidding me lmao. Of all the Hololive hacks to make, this is one of the last I would have predicted. I expected a Hololive Phoenix Wright long before this.

Wow. Hololive really brings out the best worst best most in people.

EDIT: Okay... On one hand, the portrait sprites could REALLY use some work. On the other hand, they made Anya literally just a fucking sword, and that is absolutely hilarious.

I was gonna ask why 100 MB for a GBA game but I downloaded and noticed it has some of the older versions, that's kind of cool.
