The biggest release of 2025 is out now and crashing the Switch 2 eShop and Steam page! https://kotaku.com/silksong-steam-eshop-crashing-twitch-game-pass-hollow-knight-2000623137

That's actually why pre-orders are beneficial. Dropping the game the moment you release the game available to play is a BS technical decision lol.

Not to mention some people may don't have a saved money for this game as their monthly budged planned for something else, and will have to skip buying it this month and may be exposed for spoilers from this game until then. One of my friend freaked out about it so want me to gift this game and pay for it later lol.

I know it's a small indie game but damn they lack common sense vision lol.

it's actually not bad. played it for a couple hours and i'm impressed. so far I like it better than the original, at least the beginning. it's definitely more story driven this time around.

The chaotic launches are absolutely top-notch.
Imagine what GTA VI is capable of doing?

If that's what's happening with the virtual storefronts, I don't want to know what's going to happen in social medias soon.

Everything worked fine on GoG for me. Game's great so far - you start off way more mobile than in the first game, feels good to play!

Been playing from Steam for about 2 hours now and the game is great. Not just that but it's so well-optimized it runs on my potato pretty well. So far, it feels kinda easier than the first game? But it's too soon.

Its so funny, people were saying that the first bosses of silk song were steam error message characters lol
i was drawing while refreshing steam constantly, finally was able to buy it an hour or so ago,
not its time to go buy some snacks and prepare for a great night.

I wish a good game for you all!!

Yep, been trying to purchase it for hours. only just managed to secure a copy!
Secure a copy that is digital? how is that possible lol.

In my humble opinion, I prefer to wait a few days after a game is released if the purpose is download it digitally. I have zero interest in playing anything day one, in fact I have less interest the more famous the game gets lol. This way I never get these kind of issues :)

Hmm, perhaps a poor choice of words on my part. ::sailor-embarrassed

I like the idea of being involved in a cultural event, like a midnight launch for a big release, but it's not a make or break for me.
I could have waited honestly. I'm not likely to play it for another few days. But with the price point being so reasonable, I felt fine grabbing this one on release day.

Does it work for you now?

Rest in peace silksong's meme, we'll never forget you. Honestly I could care less about this game, however, there came a point where fans had to wait so long that the meme stopped being funny and became so sad. Even I thought "please silksong, stop trolling all people waiting for you". So, I'm glad it's finally out.

I wonder if the clown wigs are already embodied on the heads of the fans ::eggmanlaugh

So true!

By the way that was the inspiration i had in mind while drawing this, during the countdown.
Finally giving the good old meme a closure, with Hornet coming back to finally visit the fans who waited for her for so long, and kinda in a way, with the whole dramatic shadow that Hornet projects metaphorically trying to show that she is still bigger than the joke itself, after all, as we are gonna find out.

Dramatic i know, but I do have that much faith in Team Cherry's work :b

Well, now I recall, your sentence was not that strange. I've seen some digital games being "sold out" in some place I don't remember well, maybe Epic store or EA store? that's a total shamelessness lol.

But yeah, I understand when something has the "right" price for you, it's just a day one buy, been there.
