i LOVE old ps games and im rlly tryna get into them if ygs have any good suggestions lmk.

im on a windows laptop rn but ive got no ps controllers or anything. im using the epsxe emulator and ive configured the emulator's controller to my keybinds, but when i try running nfs III only my triangle square circle and cross buttons work? im not sure pls help🙏

Maybe double-check that it's using the keyboard for the input before starting the game, and enter in the inputs again?

I haven't used epsxe in nearly twenty years though, if you're on a windows laptop Duckstation would probably be the better bet. (Pretty straightforward with the configuration too.)

Since it's a question, gonna go ahead and move this to the appropriate forum though.
 
Laptop keyboards tend to confuse emulators sometimes because 'key input' and 'Fn+key input' are read as two separate things. Make sure your Fn switch is off so that you're pressing W for up instead of Fn+W for example.
 
Wagwan, I have no advice for you but you should really try cinematic slow-burn A24 classics like Tribal Hunter and Super Lesbian Animal RPG when you get the chance!
