So I've kind of have an account on here for quite awhile and i figured I should make an introduction since i never posted in the forums! Anyways, I'm Matt and i'm currently 34 years old! ^_^ I've loved games since i was about 4 years old. Before that, I used to watch others play games like the original Sonic on the Sega Genesis and I remember seeing an arcade of Street Fighter II at a cafe food court at my mom's college. I was too small to reach the machine, but i have memories of seeing Ryu's Victory pose and it still stuck with me to this day! It's probably silly i guess but at the time i just thought it was one of the coolest things ever! ehehe
One day, when i finally entered Kindergarten my dad decided that we'd get a Sega Genesis. We went to ToysRus and they had a deal at the time, the Sega Genesis came with one of two games. Either Vectorman or Garfield, but me and my sister agreed that Vectorman sounded cooler so we went with that. So yeah, Vectorman was the very first video game i ever played and that's kind of how i got into gaming. It took me until i was 6 years old to finally beat it, so i kind of just have a soft spot for it. I got Sonic later on even though that was the game i wanted first.
But yeah i grew up on consoles such as Sega, Super Nintendo, and Gameboy. I was a very big Sonic, Pokemon, and Zelda kid. I mostly love JRPGs, Visual Novels, but i like pretty much any kind of game genre if it appeals to me. Some of my favorite games are Lunar 2 Eternal Blue, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Rivera the Promised Land, Fire Emblem, Ace Attorney, and i do love some Pokemon.
I'm a huge otaku also. Besides gaming, I love anime a lot. I enjoy reading manga, drawing, learning Japanese, listening to music, cooking, collecting stuff like anime merch and artbooks, I occasionally make videos on Youtube for fun, nature walks, and watching movies especially Studio Ghibli movies!
