help with emulating some stuff

hi hello how is everyone?? i have retroarch on pc and i love using it for arcade games (i'm a big fighting game nerd) and i can't for the life of me get street fighter iii third strike to play. other cps3 games run okay, i can play jojo and street fighter iii new generation, but i want to play third strike and am having no luck with it. is there something i'm missing??

forgot to mention, i'm using the fbneo core :)

I don't know about Retroarch+fbneo core, but assuming it expects the same as MAME, you could run "mame <nameoftheexpectedrom>" from the command line and if any expected file inside the zip file is missing, it will tell you.

Also, maybe you can do the same thing with Retroarch

It's probably a rom problem, arcade emulators are very specific about wich roms they run, you'll probably have to keep downloading other versions of the same game till you find one that works

Visit pleasuredome and download the latest MAME rom set or just the games you'll need.
Third Strike together with the zip requires also a separate folder with the chd file

Use Fightcade instead of Retroarch. You can also play online.

I couldn't get the arcade version of sf3 3rd strike to work, but the dreamcast version plays great....I forget which emulator core it is, so i'll check when I can

i went to the site and downloaded 3rd strike, works great from what i can tell!! maybe they just had a more updated rom than i did, i dunno. thank you!!
