That emulator is pretty mature so it can play anything a real PSP can. If it corrupt, you'll need to get a replacement. The Repo on this site has a decent selection just in case you need to find new ISO. I know that PSP batteries can be a gamble these days since the official ones have long since been discontinues. I hear the Ostent ones are okay, but even then I'd get it off of Amazon in case it's a dud. The only other options to playing PSP games are to either get a PS Vita and soft mod it (and get a SD card adapter), or grab an Android phone and a controller.
