hello, So I've had no problems installing and using emulators such as Duckstation, PPSSPP or even Pcsx2. However, for some reason the PS-Vita emulator eludes me. I have tried downloading various versions of it on their website, but after downloading is completed, I cannot get it to install. I've tried using Arqiver (which is what I use 100% successfully to extract ISOs) but to no avail. Any and all help would be appreciated! :)

can you not use the portable version of it with Wine or whatever is doing what wine does on your distro?
As far as linux goes I am only familiar with the kde environment so i just let it do everything

I've only started using Linux literal days ago on a friend's machine so pardon any redundancy/uselessness in what I say, but are you certain you aren't missing dependencies?

Was writing this post just before the above one was posted.
1. Download the Linux Nightly zip
2. Extract the zip
3. chmod +x Vita3K in terminal (or however you prefer to make an executable... executable)
3. ./Vita3k in terminal (or however you like to run executables, ie. double click I assume works)
Terminal commands are in the directory in which Vita3K is. Use the "cd" command to get there or "open terminal here" in your file manager.

Also, had to install "libsdl2-2.0-0" for the emulator to run. Should be under the same name on Ubuntu.

Hey dude, i'm using something similar to you, Kubuntu, it's just ubuntu with KDE, what i did to get vita3K to run was just download the linux version from their website, extract the zip file and double click this file here and execute it, its gonna function as an EXE like in windows, it won't install and show up in your tool bar
