There is a message here about it. But mentioning it in Levels Explained would be helpful too, and would make sense as it's useful information about how leveling works.
Like many new people I got very confused when I noticed that my level hadn't gone up when the posts required to level number went up. I went to Levels Explained to figure it out and looked it over but I couldn't find anything about it in there.
I almost ended up making a post asking about it, because I figured if it wasn't mentioned there some bug must have happened. It's a fluke that I ended up scrolling down and seeing the sticky with the answer before asking about it. That sticky doesn't even show on my screen without scrolling.
In short, I almost ended up asking about it despite trying to find an answer myself before asking. Because it's not explained in Levels Explained.
It would be less confusing for people who go to Levels Explained looking for an answer if the delay was explained there too. It would really make sense for that to be said there.
