Title. I'm curious as to if this makes an appreciable amount of difference in making the games easier to control, as I've had very little success with a single analog.

I've played Armored Core 2 and 3 with the patch, and I found that with a little finetuning it controlled very nicely.

Oh? what kind of fine tuning? you have my full attention.

Nothing too complicated, I had to remap some controls to my personal taste. It was very smooth to play afterwards.

I've completed the whole arena in Project Phnatasma in vita using that patch and it works very great.

Almost every AC or any game that has analog patches does made it much easier to play, even for some games that only used the d-pad

I cannot recommend true analogs enough, whoever made that patch is doing God's work <3 <3 <3

With true analogs for AC2, I map to the shoulder buttons like this and it is so much more fun :3 I'm still really bad at the armored core games though ;_; But now I can't blame the controls >_>

Thank you for the input! I definitely will try them.

playing 2 right now and the analogs won't make you move faster than the turn speed stat will allow, which throws off people who have not played the PS1/2 games

Thank you for letting me know. I'll keep in mind that stats matter.

Anyone tried the patch for AC1? I noticed I had it downloaded from a long time ago, and tried it on a whim the other day, but it seems to not accept any input, even keyboard (beetle core, and duckstation). Master of Arena works...
