This happened to me twice years back due to trashy "associations" of my trashy older brother.

First I had a PSP that I took to high school, got to play emulators, download psp games off of shady websites like coolgames. It was awesome, then my older brother's gf at the time decided to hot it for dope.

A few years later older brother invited a trio a shady f*ckers in our house, told my younger brother and I to leave the living room, we couldn't argue against the bigger stupid ape. My younger brother and I left our devices in the living room, younger brohter's 2DS, android pad, and my shitty ipad which made me jealous of younger's android. They disappeared when we went back to the living room. Needless to say we were both pissed at him.

One time, it was forgettable since I let a friend use it and never asked him for him back. The second time, I accidentally left it on my father's car seat and someone broke into it. It was a sad day, but my father was pissed off.

I had a PSVita for over 2 years with a lot of games and a lot of progress in those games, including an over +100hr playthrough of Persona 4 Golden, Crisis Core, Salt and Sanctuary and plenty of hours in a lot of other games. I left it in an Uber by accident, it was on a leather case and I was planning to use it later, didn't have a backpack with me. Called the driver, he found it and said he'd bring it to me, never showed up and could never contact him again.

I got a new one, slim version, and I still have it and use it sometimes but it still hurts because I was planning to platinum some of those games and lost so much progress.

I had a PS4 stolen by my roommate's meth head best friend. I still think about it. Lots of saves were lost that day.

When I was a kid I let a "friend" borrow my GameBoy and Link's Awakening.

A couple days later he claimed that never happened and that I had made it up. I didn't see the thing again until his very embarassed mom gave it back a couple years later when she found it in his room and remembered what had happened.

Worth adding that when I finally got it back it was super scratched up and some pieces of the plastic shell had broken off, too. Real dickhead hours.

my first ps vita got “borrowed” by my eldest cousin along with the game The Walking Dead. After 2 weeks i finally went over his house, and not only did he break my TWD disc, but also got my ps vita traded for an NDS after losing a dodgeball match. To this very day, i have no idea where or what my ps vita is doing lol.
