Maybe it's because it's a week day, but there hasn't been a single new thread in General Discussion today

I still have eight pages of unread threads (the most the forum can display at once, resets every two-three days) so... No?

This is prolly due to the cloudflare incident, some people might have gone for a bit to other platforms. Also, in Brazil we got the extended holidays... perhaps folks are doing other stuff, but they'll be back!

Not at all. For a brief period, the old CDR site was deleted, which made it so the forum could only by word of mouth, but that’s no longer the case.

Yeah that Cloudflare is the reason I didn't log in on RGT Damn they almost got me.

Maybe because is Thanksgiving and everyone is busy at the moment black Friday.

There was at least one other pretty major forum/message board that had a significant decline in quality (which was the reason I came here) that has improved a bit recently, so people may have come here less. That one's a bit more active, but also a lot more toxic.

there would be more activity if instead of using Disqus, users required a forum account to post messages on the repo

I feel it has slowed down a bit yeah, but I assume most of us are old enough to either be busy with higher education or working (or God forbid, both ::nervous-prinny). But I don't mind, forums are not like social media so slower posting frequency doesn't bother me, as long as thisplace remains somewhat active so it can prevent the fate of many abandoned forums, but I don't see it happening anytime soon

We've reached the Moore's Law of gaming discussion. As you can see, there's not much to talk about anymore and the only thread that gets any new traffic is the ever powerful, omnipotent Hot Takes where you are free to insult a piece of software.

Eh, it ebb's and flow's. Some weeks it's a bit slow, other's it gets more active, same as anything else I suppose.

It's not the sort of thing anyone talks about around here, buuuuuut it *IS* the week of a new Call of Duty release. (On top of Battlefield and Arc Raiders, it's that big multiplayer shooter time of the year).

I would give Arc Raiders a try, but I'm stuck having a PS4 lol.

Im just strolling around and watch what new Fire-emblem-hacks .... errr... i mean good , underrated and obscure videogames , besides the huge quantity of Fire-emblem hacks that are not in my focus whatsoever , i can get and play .

Did you know , we need an Fire-emblem-hack that you play the whole cast of FRIENDS which fight for the last slice of pizza or they must suffer the consequences of an demonic horde that creates a portal by the power of the last pineapple pizza slice ? That would the hack of hacks . ::smirk1

This, but unironic. I love FE, and this sounds peak. Get on it, FE hackers
