So I went to my local mall today and saw Halloween/Fall related products in a few stores, and August already just started. Now I know you can celebrate Halloween a bit early because it only happens once a year, and it's normal to watch Horror films and eat candy anytime. But, with Back to School being advertised so much after 4th of July because certain areas in the US start school in the middle of August (Which still bogs my mind, because it's still Summer and the weather is still hot), advertising executives are now releasing Halloween during the Summer known as Summer-Ween. I don't know if that's a good idea or if that idea should've wait until mid September before advertisers decide to release Christmas decorations after Labor Day.

What's the best month/date to celebrate Halloween? During the middle of September, October 1st-31st or during Halloween?

halloween starts when halloween candy ships out and ends after everything is on clearance

The "Summerween" stuff has been really cute and interesting to me tbh (love me some creepy cute shit). And honestly, anything to get out of the mindset of complete heat and humidity that bombards the south is a blessing

I do find Summerween a good idea.

My bones are ready for spooky summer-times till spooktobre hits the scene.

Halloween Products usually came out 2 months early because Christmas Shopping begins on October which is the month of Halloween.

It feels weird but makes sense to me. At least it's not encroaching on another holiday like Christmas stuff in October. It feels inevitable really. Remember when Black Friday was the only major specific holiday shopping day before Christmas(at least in the US)? Now it's like a whole week. Thing that makes money turns into more thing that makes money, even if it dilutes the original point. I see Easter stuff in stores during February now, it's too soon for me but not the CEOs it seems.

Yeah it feels weird to see products that normally sell in Fall to happen in Summer but I guess companies are just trying to pawn all their stuff off early. As someone who loves Halloween I won't complain.

Halloween starts for me whenever I see some decoration for the first time in a random store or house, it doesn't matter if is october or not.

CVS had Halloween candy in June. I was just at Acme supermarket last week and got a can of La Columbe pumpkin spice latte. Pumpkin spice is usually out by August these days. I'm glad but annoyed at the same time .Because by the time Halloween actually comes around I'm sick of it and getting the dark or Cuban roast at Wawa instead.

Speaking of Wawa, I'm be at one tomorrow and I'm hoping that they have pumpkin spice already. But it might be a bit too early. Also, does anyone think that peppermint should be a summer flavor since it's cooling?

It was even earlier than that. I spotted these back in June

I keep Halloween in my heart year round, constantly stayin spooky.

It is part of our schedule product placement.

But just dont buy it. It sucks to be honest to have these seasons kind of "rushed", like Halloween or Christmas. Like you cant just enjoy them, you have to be looking at whats to come.
