Hi everyone,

I’m playing Gunslinger Girl Vol. I (Japan-only PS2 release) on my Retroid Pocket 4 Pro using AetherSX2 and physical analog sticks (no touchscreen controls).

I’ve hit a wall in the tutorial section where you have to shoot a bunch of moving targets. The problem is that the aiming is misaligned – the crosshair appears in one spot, but the bullets land slightly off. Because of that, hitting the targets (especially the fast ones) is really hard, almost impossible.

I’ve tried adjusting sensitivity, testing different control profiles, and changing settings in AetherSX2, but nothing seems to fix the offset. I'm using the physical controls, not touch.

Has anyone experienced this?

Is this an emulation issue?

Any fix or calibration method?

Is there any way to skip the tutorial or use a save file past it?

Would really appreciate any help! I’m enjoying the atmosphere of the game but can’t get past this frustrating intro section.

Thanks a lot!

Hmm, I don't have any experience with emulating on Android so I did a little digging. I played a little on PC via Pcsx2 and it seems fine. From what little I understood in the tutorial when you're hovering close to a target you can press triangle to lock onto it. Maybe that's what you're missing?

If that's not the case then maybe try setting the resolution to native or enabling/disabling widescreen patch.

Another thing you may want to look into seeing as AetherSX2 is officially discontinued - here.

Thanks so much for the help, I really appreciate it!

Nauseat. kindly shared a memory card save file — thank you! The thing is, I’m not sure how to use it correctly. Do you know what I should do to load it properly?

I’m actually using NetherSX2 on my Retroid Pocket, I just mentioned AetherSX2 out of habit (old habits die hard, haha).

Also, the widescreen patch you mentioned sounds really interesting — I’ll definitely give it a try and see how it looks!

Thanks again for all the support!

oh my bad ive never tried nethersx2 or the retroid i just know in emulators like pcsx2 you can like load the memory card file by going to the emulator settings and then clicking memory card and there will be a spot to browse for memory card files,i did a google search and it seems like you might need your PC to import it if youre using nethersx2 and you might need a program for that im not sure, sorry if that wasnt terribly helpful after all lol
