This game is just a psp tactical RPG with the lore being about the Leonicans getting discrimnated against and a rebel group (you) fight for ur freedom the game has a turn based system with attention to detail to strategic decion making and multiple endings YOU NEED TO TRY THIS game i LOVED the story and the gameplay WAS SO MUCH FUN

One of those game I've bought without second thought: I've come to know about it thanks to a Atlus newsletter. I had just bought a psp and when I saw the screeshots and understood it looked like "Riviera" and "Knights in the Nightmare", two beloved games of mine, I said "day-one". I think I got it from Estarland.

yeah Yggdra Union is great.. i also luv the Queens Blade tactical rpg on psp with a partial english patch.. but, maybe me lovin that makes me a gooner.. naw, its super good... or then again, i luv the Valkyria Chronicles 2 and 3, Oreimo, Fate Extra and Unlimited, Hexyz Force, Y's seVen and Oath in Felghana, Sengoku Ace 3, Planetarian (the anime is good too), Riviera the Promised Land, NEOGEO Heroes Ultimate Shooting (Iroka and Mai FTW), Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast, Jeanne d'Arc and the Legend of Heroes games (both og and Trails)... oh shit... i could keep typing these game titles for hours, cuz they are amazing but im sure this is boring ya...

yeah I dig Tears of Vermillion and White Witch a ton... did you play the PC 98, psp version or what? apparently Hudson made a version for Sega Saturn that looks a lot like Grandia or Breath of Fire 3 and 4 for psx... yeah psp library is awesome...

I was joking around, but Gungir is mechanically similar to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, with some interesting twists.

Yeah, Gungnir is awesome - I love how you have to 'make do with what you have'. I think if you just play and make decisions and don't worry about missing out it's really fun, and the mechanics, story, and aesthetics are great. You should consider trying Yggdra Union and Nights in the Nightmare, since you are willing to 'invest' in learning strange games (although Gungnir is one of the least strange of Sting's games - that and Riviera, I'd say) - you might really love them too.
