Hello: I was originally planning to lurk around for the roms and not really engage with the community at large, but between the need of instructions and advices, the fact I had plenty of pleseant conversations here and how some threads got my attention and couldn't resist replying, I decided to become more of an active member here, beginning by writing an introduction.
You can call me Heroes: I am from Europe and I had a long passion from gaming since I was a child: my first console was the Playstation, and my very first games were Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon (and my pfp is one of the dragons in the remake of the game). Unsuprisingly, I also grew to be Furry trash.
I have a big passion for retrogaming in general! My favourite retro consoles are the first playstation, the SNES and the PC-Engine: I only recently got into emulation and played both games of my childhood and ones I didn't get the chance to play, and so far it has been a blast, I even occasionally stream them to my friends!
I personally like to limit the usage of Save state and stuff like that to the minimum: I like to experience the games I play how they are supposed to be originally played, the only exception is to make a suspended save when I need to stop mid session, if the game lacks a save or password system and if it is THAT hard you need to save scum to avoid losing progress or massive frustation.
Nice to meet the lot of you and hope to talk some more in the future! Also, if anyone could explain what the leveling system in this forum is about and what it does and how you make progress to gain levels, it would be really appreciated, thank you!
