Grand Theft Mario: NPCs steal cars in Mario Kart World

There's apparently more GTA in Mario Kart World than you might initially think. A video from Supper Mario Broth shows that NPCs in the open game world can steal cars and it looks a lot like Grand Theft Mario.

Nah it's very normal in Canada because it's like "me stuff is your stuff" thingy. We don't even lock the doors, anyone can just eat my Doritos no problemo!!! lolol

Another thing is "public car services"/"car-sharing services" in our world. You use such services that shows which car near you available, then they give you authorization to unlock the car to ride it as rented car. When you are done you leave it so someone else uses the car.

Maybe cars don't have owners in Mario Kart World. Anybody can just get into any car and drive away, they're all public property.

Really wish that was a feature in Mario Kart World. Not to steal cars, but get off the kart and have it also be a 3D Mario platformer.

That concept sounds nice on paper. Cars being more like services you could use for your need rather than property.
