Mainly it's Mech Action Games that are my main thing, but there's some good SRPG and RPG ones like the few I mentioned, but also fighting game ones like Virtual on and Techromancer. There's definitely plenty of good or great ones that definitely stand out in their genres or outside, but there's also a lot more boring and generic ones that just have a Mech Coat of Paint(basically any indie mech game now). Out of the bunch I feel like Lost Planet gets overlooked, when it's one of capcom's most underappreciated and experimental series. Lost Planet 1 and 2 I feel much like Dead Rising defined the best the 7th console generation have, and also EX Troopers is a really fun spin off. Lost Planet 3 gets shat on a lot, but I feel it's alright. Metal Warriors I have played and that's a pretty good one I feel. Feels very genuine in what it wants to be unlike most other Mech games made in the west that are based off of ones from the east. I think Valken is better, but Metal Warriors is really good altogether. Also in terms of licenses, Macross and Gundam have it pretty good when it comes to licensed games, esp the Artdink based ones.
