This scene is easily one of the best moments in the classic movie series. Pretty sure its from Godzilla vs Space Godzilla but it's been a hot minute since I had a Godzilla marathon.

Ma boiiiiiiiii. Second best scene in classic Godzilla:

I'm also throwing down with Godzilla vs Megalon. Jet. Godamn. Jaguar. And it even had the kick that was so good Godzilla had to do it twice.

Second place has to be the original Vs Mechagodzilla. It had the best human plotline and also some classic fight moments. Also, King Caeser.

It's a pretty good time to like Godzilla and comic books! There's been this huuuuuge push for crossovers and every genre of book they can stuff a kaiju in, and while I could rattle off books like Godzilla Heist, Godzilla: Skate or Die, or the (surprisingly good) Marvel crossovers like Fantastic Four Vs Godzilla, I *do* have a favorite.

Godzilla: Monsterpiece Theater​

Mimicking the formula of every good Predator story, writer Tom Seeley drops The Big G into completely unrelated stories, English classics from the turn of the previous century. Starting with The Great Gatsby - Gatsby himself being the main protagonist - and working in Sherlock Holmes, H.G. Wells Time Traveler, and eventually Dracula with a whole Universal movie monster crew.

Saw this movie more than I care to count as a wee lad, every Thanksgiving on WOR in NY. "I don't care, give me my damn turkey so I can watch the movie!"

Look, Godzilla is saying hello to children! "Hey kid, wasup?"

Dad: "See? Godzilla doesn't like kids who misbehave. Act up again, I'll let him eat you!"

Oh my god, how did I forgot about Godzilla vs King Kong. The first time I watched that movie I ended up crying I was laughing so hard. Absolute classic.

Man, I'll tells ya; during the time period I was growing up, the show Sanford and Son was airing. The old main character Fred would be saying all sorts of Godzilla crossovers that were gonna air on tv: "Godzilla vs Benji. Godzilla vs Lassie. Godzilla vs The Ghetto. Godzilla vs Bambi."
As a kid, hearing these and having seen King Kong vs Godzilla, I thought "Oh shit, he's gonna fight them too?:

I remember watching Godzilla VS Megalon in the early 2000's on VHS and I thought it was a pretty awesome movie.

Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla will always have a special place in my heart because it was my first exposure to Godzilla related media. I know it's a little bit of an unpopular opinion, but I actually really enjoyed that movie, and I think Spacegodzilla himself is just really cool. I'm still a little undecided between which film is my favorite between vs. Spacegodzilla, vs. Mothra (Battra is probably my overall favorite kaiju), or GMK.​
