Ghost of Yotei: The beginning of a new PlayStation legend

Hey RGT people tomorrow is the day a new Playstation hit is coming out. Ghost of Yotei a game that is already on everyone's lips. Are you ready to play it or rather not what do you all think about it ????

It looks very cool visually, not gonna lie. But personally, I got tired on Sony's open world games long time ago and don't have a PS5 anyway.

The hype surrounding the first game convinced me to give it a shot a while ago and I just don't get it.

It's a competent Ubisoft game as published by Sony, but that's about it. If you like Assassin's Creed I'm sure it's a good time for you - good visuals, decent (if unoriginal) combat, the works - but people talk about these games as though they're these artistic masterpieces and I just don't see it.

Oh and the fact that they call their black-and-white screen filter "Kurosawa mode" genuinely makes me cringe.
Samurai fetish popcorn entertainment on its own does not equate to Hidden Fortress, no matter how many shots from his movies they copy.

While i appreciate the concept & the first entry being alright, for me personally i'm gonna wait on Onimusha way of the sword for my next samurai fix.

I'm not quite sure yet and it costs us 80€ which is a lot of money and the question is the game even worth 80€ well we'll see.

Yes they did, but that is only one of the many problems this game has.

My dad loved the first one, he had just finished a replay of it after recovering from chemo last fall. Wish he was still here to see this one.

How can a game that is yet not released be "a legend" or "a hit"?

The only thing I've heard about the game so far is that the main character's voice actress is quite the character herself and that's not a compliment.

No It has nothing to do with the other one, this is a completely new game with a new story.
