80s af though!For a JRPG game, it's not bad, but the American cover of the game is nothing like the video game itself.
he hangs around barcades, has a drink, and plays pinball.I always feel like I enjoyed Undertow better and it really seems like all of them don't do content much anymore. Last time I checked in on Mark he seemed to be making a lot of AI music & videos to try and do something. I dunno, seemed like he was really grasping at straws.

NES RPGs have like 1000 words of text, the translations are rarely a big issue. I played it just a bit many years ago, it seemed like your average NES RPG - lots and lots of random encounters, and little else. But it does have a few twists. You don't level up through experience points, instead you have to find levels up in treasure chests. In theory I think it takes place in the modern world and you're on a mystical safari looking for the legendary white lion, but since it's on the NES it still ends up basically looking like Dragon Quest.It really looks like they photoshopped her face on that body in that box art.
Is the game any good? It looks good to me but it's an official translation for a Japanese NES game and we all know how good those end up being
Funny how you've never seen the US cover because I'VE seen it lots of times and this was the first time I had seen the JP cover.I knew about the game, even tried it long ago, but I'd never seen the US cover before. It's an insane one, they really chose to portray the heroine as an aerobics instructor with a sword and place here in this weird surreal context with the tiny mountains and the smiling lion.
It's a model woman from the 80s, dude. lolWelcome to {{current year}}
Welcome to {{current year}}Is that a man, or a woman? Or..... a Werelion? I'm so confused.
i remembered watching then it first came out and laugh my ass off. the fact they choose to do a weird localized of the game. then try be more original of concept of art for it. the video is one of the best Avgn did in his career and then it was first upload 'lli felt it was odd to talk about box art. butt not such much odd now. i'll find out how bizarre the nes and snes art got then released in the usI had no idea he did a video on it. Well, I know what I'm watching tonight.
I had no idea he did a video on it. Well, I know what I'm watching tonight.Is the lion giant? why is it behind the mountains? why is the sword out of frame?
