Hi everyone, does anyone know if there is a Spanish version of this game on PSP?

Checking Wikipedia it has a European version listed which IDK if it has Spanish so gotta find its ROM and look into it?: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_in_the_Shell:_Stand_Alone_Complex_(2005_video_game)

However this website only has the American version.

Edit: FYI PSP games sometimes don't have "change language setting" in the game itself (or not at all?), so you gotta change the language of the PSP via its own system settings to make European games display the language you want, but naturally the game can only display the language it has that matches with your PSP's language setting.

In that regard what I remember is some games still have English parts for menu and stuff but subtitles are changed to your language setting.

While this is a logical answer but there are reasons why Google Search is sometimes not enough:

1) The Internet is not a magical place that you can find the answer to anything despite "I bet I can find it on internet!!".

2) The Internet is polluted with false information. Even what features games have to what languages they support may be written falsely on websites that seem legitimate. Sometimes people love to write their own fiction instead of writing about facts just because they are tasked to write about it. Even news channels distort real life to turn it into some Korean drama BS lol, and it's not only legacy media issue. Whatever news media based on articles like Gamespot also suffer from it. While they try to be informative they can sometimes BS so hard what they write about does not exist at all.

3) Google gone shit especially this last decade. You search for X but it machine guns results for Y instead. It seems Google ignores what you really search anymore, they enforce results that are most popular stuff people research. I preferred the Google when there was no result it didn't display much, now it goes out of topic a lot. This really making a simple search can take hours only to realize there is no related search you are looking for.

4) Google seem to intentionally ruin their search engine so people will use their AI lol.

In the end for quicker and more valid information still to this day better ask others, or internet is a place people get angry for over something that actually didn't happen but everyone shares the false information around to get angry over like a sheep lolol.

although search engines, not limiting this to "google", are still important tools -- and in this case could very likely solve the OP's issue -- their selling point is to eliminate the need for ppl who seek information to worry about something called "link graph", which is the fundamental structure of the web and since before it became crapified and dominated by corporations and/or scam... especially if you're a regular here and likewise environments, you should know that using google as the only way of getting information is at least risky, since they're mostly showing results compromised by their interest in making money... for instance: why'd you think a rom or file-sharing site would want to advertise their existence to search engines, despite of their activity? if not advertised, what would even make em to show up in results in the first place? that's the kind of mindset that should guide you while using search engines I guess... (which is not the case, as I said, but personally it doesn't bother me if ppl ask stuff that could be "safely" found on google anyway)

Thanks, but I don't think I can get the ROM. I asked Spike and he said no. But I'm sure it does exist with Spanish subtitles.

The game box in the picture says it's exclusively in English, but it should have Spanish subtitles.

Vimm's Lair has the PSP European version. It's a reliable website. Click on Vault and use the search.

@Zero_X - Well, many PAL games are multilanguage and as far as I know, that's the only version marketed in Europe: if not clearly specified, they probably are multilanguage anyway, but usually there's to set the system to the desired language, on order to get the speech and/or subtitles.
Gotta take a look at mine: in case, I'll see if I can share it here.

@Zero_X - So, I tested my European copy (real HW and PPSSPP): the game has no language options, so I directly set the system language to Spanish (Castellano), but nothing, unfortunately the game is English only...

Is this the version of the photo you sent me earlier that you have? If so, it's a shame because the game has too much dialogue to understand the plot.

Presumably, it's the version marketed in this part of Europe, which was intended for sale in France, Spain, and Italy, as you can see from top to bottom (hence the descriptions in these three languages)...
Well, yes there is a certain amount of text, but nothing unmanageable to the point of affecting the gaming experience
If I rember correctly, the story is set right after the events of the first season of the anime, and Motoko with Section 9 investigates on a case of terrorism named T.A.R.
