Happy New Year RGT! A new year means to games to experience, old, and new. With that in mind, I'd like to pose a question:

What are your "gaming resolutions" for this year? Are there any games you've been putting off playing, that you're finally going to give a shot this year? A console you plan on checking out, a PC you're finally gonna build? There are no wrong answers. If it's a goal you have regarding games this year, I want to hear them!

I'll start: My resolutions are pretty straightforward. The main goal I have is to just play more games, and write about gaming more. I also would finally like to get into the Trails series this year. I can feel it calling my name.

BomWell, my goal is to beat Pokémon Platinum. Here's my team.

My goal is to game more in general. No more youtube scrolling to sit there for hours or brain storming book ideas I won't commit to writing right now. I got a Deck that I've been sitting on and my gaming review was a cold water bucket compared to the year previously. It's not my free time that changed but my attitude to gratification. I should work for it even if it's just a farming sim or a simple deck builder not surf the net for it. I want to finish 4 games on my backlog or at least finish 4 games I started before and left unfinished.

Playing more video games and explore the sega and TurboGrafx side of rpgs.

I want to finally start the Yakuza series this year.

Also, I'd like to get a copy of Desha De Go and the unique controller for it. I've always wanted to dive into that.

I second more gaming and less scrolling.
As for what exactly, there's just so many things I'd wish to eventually play it's hard to list. Maybe I'll get adventurous and try and play one modern game. ::eggmanlaugh

Also I'll do the meme and say 1280x960
(this is what my upscaler outputs, it's an even 4x scale from 240p)

Try to get into RPGs
Try to better better at fighting games
Be less negative on the Sonic series
Beat the unbeaten games sitting in my backlog

I have a whole notebook I wanna fill with games I've played. I would also like to, at some point this year, actually start a blog.

1920x1080, i was considering moving to 1440p but my gpu can't quite manage that resolution unfortunately, at least in newer games, the backlog of ps4 era games should run great tough

Finally finished FFVII Remake (+ Intermission) on New Year's Day, feel like I've started it like 3 times over the last decade. Also want to cross off the whole Xenoblade series finally. Started 3 of them but never finished any, and branch out to gears and saga if I get the chance. Apart from that play the games I actually want to play rather than games I feel like I can beat quickly. Also
3840x2160

Would've been looking at upgrading to AM5 on my pc but it wouldn't support ddr4 ram and with ram prices the way they are I can't even tell when that will happen.

finaly going to play through all final fantasy games for nes snes and ps1

and i hope to build my new gaming pc this year

My real answer is probably to play more indie games.
Also upgrading my PC but it’s still a pipe dream.
