I also did a no lvl-up run way back when, long before it was cool to do so and there were walkthroughs on the subject, only using knowledge I had acquired in my previous playthroughs (in fact I made it harder on myself because I had no idea you could turn enemies into cards in battle for free APs with no EXP gain, so I mostly relied on boss fights until I got to fight Cactuar and use lvl-down on enemies to minimize the exp yield) [/QUOTE]
