Also, while most disliked the cursed party member, I thought it was an interesting way to intertwine the gameplay and the story. If this game came out today and was billed as an "homage to the early days of JRPGs" people would probably be much more receptive to it. It's a game that doesn't stray too far from the established spiky-haired hero with sword saves the world from an otherworldly force, and I don't think you can really go wrong with that. I have a few games that are considered classics that never really did anything for me, but I don't like ruffling the feathers of others, so I'll just participate in the positive portion of this thread. :-> [/QUOTE]
