Games that will never have sequels, no matter how much we cry.

Dark Colony one of the most underrated RTS games out there.

Warcraft 4 "man I would kill for a new RTS game that ´s like the old 3 classic games but with better graphics and no stupid hero units. "I like Warcraft 3 but I hated the hero units"

Freelancer 2 man I would love for a new freelancer game but instead Idiot Robert decided to spend millions on make the most expensive long running alpha game in the world.

I'm pretty butthurt with no sequel for The Wonderful 101.

I respect Kamiya for trying different stuff and for having a great taste in art.

I seem to recall Shigesato Itoi saying in a Japanese magazine interview that he'd prefer to play Mother 4 as a regular player rather than be the director, something like that.
Oddity was supposed to be that game, but sadly, it seems that project was just a huge smokescreen or maybe was trapped in development hell.
Itoi said that? Wouldn't Nintendo need his permission if they did want to make Mother 4?

MLB: Power Pros (2008).
Do you specifically mean an MLB version? There was a mobile sequel in 2010, zero clue if it's playable nowadays, but the Japanese version is an ongoing thing over there. There's also a non-MLB version called like "e-Baseball Power Pros" or something on Switch for 99 cents.

Why would they? Working on a game doesn't grant ownership.

The Elder Scrolls. It's vaporware. Nobody wants to talk about it, but its development cycle's time has already matched Duke Nukem Forever's. At least with GTA 6 there's concrete evidence that the game exists and is nearing the end of development.

Anymore the "sequels" you want are all fan made hacks and overhauls. I hope the First Person Shooter Overhaul for the first Fallout game is real and eventually becomes available.

Any spin off Megaman/Zero series really
Spectrobes
Boktai/Lunar Knights
Zone of the Enders
Jade Cocoon
Digimon World 2003 and Rumble Arena specifically
The Darkness
Blinx
Lost Oddysey
Breath of Fire
Golden Sun
Calling
Legend of Dragoon
Parasite Eve
Pandoras Tower
Power Stone
Forbidden Siren
Dino Crisis

Also Kingdom Hearts 4, would be a miracle to release this decade, if at all.

Wasn't there something about an early alpha or beta version of Megaman Legends 3 existing somewhere in capcom's basement and capcom refusing to release it?

- Banjo-Kazooie
-Conker's Bad Fur Day
- Super Mario RPG
- Mega Man Legends
- Super Mario 64

We got the Marvel Fighting Game collection, so I can live with that. Also, UMvC3 is still available on modern platforms.
I understand that, but I just meant a new one

I would say darkstalkers as well, but I'm not sure I want modern capcom to make it.

I know. As for Darkstalkers, i don't want anyone else but Capcom to make it. Otherwise, there are only other best options Killer Instinct 2013. That's basically a modern version of that.

They are never going to make a Darkstalkers 4. And Blizzard is never going to make a Lost Vikings 3.

Found the English translation of the interview i mentioned in my previous reply.
At one point in the interview they briefly ask Itoi about a sequel; it's worth reading, as they discuss interesting things about the development of Mother 3 and Earthbound 64.

Returning to the topic of Mother 4, i assume it's just like the Itoi's opinion in that moment, but Nintendo has the final say because they own almost all the copyright of the Mother series so i dont know if that is possible.

That's interesting. I'll go read it now
