Pretty sure google translate will tell you the same but my elementary schooler japanese says the title translates to "Ghost Story School: Parade of 100 Demons" or "Haunted School Demon Parade". I'm guessing "Kaidan" refers to "Kwaidan" or that famous collection of Japanese ghost stories translated by Lafcadio Hern. The character on the cover looks like the cat girl from Gegege no Kitaro so I wonder if its a spinoff. I'm not familiar with Gegege no Kitaro though.

Not a Gegege no Kitaro spinoff. I just discovered it started out as a series of books back in the 90's, but I've known this for years because of the early 2000's anime, which I believe this game was based upon. The English name is simply "Ghost Stories", and it aired at least here in Brazil on Cartoon Network at around 2006 or 2007. I don't have many memories about it except that I watched it at around 10 to 11 p.m. and I loved how creepy it was. The opening is super nostalgic to me and I remember always watching the entire ending because it looked and sounded very mysterious.

Anyway, iirc each episode of the show revolved around a group of kids dealing with a traditional japanese ghost/yokai wreaking havoc somewhere. Some of these were really creepy to watch back then as a kid. I'm not sure how enjoyable I would find it nowadays though.
