Not sure if this is the appropriate channel for this, but I figured emulation is close enough to flash cartridges. If not the case I can repost this elsewhere.

I'm running into problems running Sailor Moon S: Jōgai Rantō!? Shuyaku Sōdatsusen.

It is unplayably buggy with constant screen flashing (Screen constantly darkening and lightening multiple times a second) and general slowness during matches.

I'm also running into graphical glitches with Dai-3-Ji Super Robot Taisen (mainly in relation to text boxes, pre-battle screens, and battles themselves)

I'm hoping it won't come to having to replace the SD card but thought I'd ask around first

If push comes to shove I might just get another microSD

Have you tried messing around with the in-game settings? that may fix it.
Couldn't find any in-game settings that felt immediately relevant to my problem but I could try looking again when I get a moment later

In Sailor Moon. I'm less sure about fixes for Dai-3-ji Super Robot Taisen

Just tried both games you mentioned with no issues. Try this.
- Turn off in game hooks and save states
- turn on reset patch for clock phase
- if your system is 1chip try turning on the 1Chip transient fixes, if your system is not 1chip this can cause problems. (mine is not so I leave it off)
- I don't think this one matters, but turn off cheats anyway

I'll give that a try. I didn't consider any of that

Okay I just did it. They're both working good now.

I think it was the in-game hooks that was causing problems.

Thanks a lot I was legit worried I damaged the SD card

I'll probably just leave hooks off and turn them on if its a game where I'd feel its warranted (A longer game that doesn't have SRAM)
