Funniest Pre-order Bonus?

I personally think this HAS to be the most hilarious and self-aware pre-order bonus. I know the question is niche and not expecting much response but...

This was a poster that came with pre-orders of Mario Kart 8. For the Wii U.

final fantasy vii rebirth came with this frankly dumb ass trucker hat as a preorder bonus... i didn't buy the game, but i worked at gamestop when the game released and we had so many of these left over that i just took one. the final fantasy logo is just printed on with a decal, it's not even embroidered.

Can't remember what game it was, but when I pre ordered I got a pair of socks with the game characters on it. This was quite a few years ago mind you. Wish I could recall what game it was, want to say it was on 3ds or ds though.

It's a bit different because it's not the bonuses themselves that are funny, it's the absolutely absurd Augment Your Pre-Order concept. I can't help but laugh my ass off at it. How the hell did they think the fans would react to something like this? They did cancel the program and give everyone who pre-ordered and bought the day 1 edition of the game all the pre-order content thankfully. That is not an idea that should catch on, it being strangled in the womb was the best thing for everyone.

This is funny as well as deeply depressing. A bonus edition of a game having just as much IF NOT MORE controversy than the main game itself is an insane achievement in failure.

That helmet molds. IT MOLDS. I've never heard of a game that's so bad at launch that it kills you before!
